What is "Hop2dabeat"?
Actually it's a name of the hip hop competition and it also organized by INTI-UC student!I'm one of the committees there.This event was started by last month and i got a chance go there to work for the preliminary round at Subang Parade.
We started our journey to Subang by 9.30am.Before that, we had to carry all the things include amplifier,speakers,mikes,laptops and lots of cables to connect between all of them.Wow...the things were lots and we got only 18 persons to carry on them.We arrived our destination on 11am.So,we quickly done our settings and went for our lunch!
Suddenly,Torros(Chi Heng) said to me that he forgot to bring money.Unfortunely,i only left 16 ringgit inside my pocket.Oh~no....We laughed together then we bought for some sandwichs and breads.First time for the specify memory.Haha! After having our lunch,we started our work as the controller for the PA system. We started loaded the participants' songs to my laptop .Then i make a copy to another laptop which is connocted to PA system and used by Torros to play the songs.
All the teams were worked very hard for the competition and the match was nice!Lots of the viewer claped thier hands as loudly as they can.While the break time and the judges were making the decision that for who get the finalist , the participants made the hip hop battle.The show was nice!Finally,the competition was ended and we went school on 5.30pm.
It was tired and i got lots of experience. However, next time i'll remind who ever go out with me to bring his/her wallet!
*The final round will be place at Sunway Pyramid on July 25,2008!
